Bruce N. Haase
A proven leader, Bruce has a broad range of experience and a notable track record of success in finance, operations, organizational development, marketing, and branding on a global scale. A disciplined P&L Manager, he has authored significant operational turnarounds and implemented growth strategies, exhibiting strong strategic vision, the ability to attract, retain and develop a high-caliber management team, and a keen understanding of competitive issues.
Recently, Bruce was CEO of WoodSpring Hotels, LLC, a Lindsay Goldberg portfolio company. WoodSpring Hotels is the largest and fastest growing value priced extended stay hotel brand in the nation with operations in 40 states. Prior to WoodSpring he was EVP, of global brands, marketing and operations at Choice Hotels International, Inc., responsible for substantially all the company’s global operations including brand strategy, franchise operations, development, marketing, and ecommerce. He currently serves as a strategic advisor to Lindsay Goldberg.
Bruce joined Choice in March 2000 as Vice President, finance and treasurer and was promoted later that year to Senior Vice President, international. Prior to joining Choice, he served as Vice President, finance, and treasurer for The Ryland Group, Inc., he spent five years as corporate treasurer and director of corporate finance at Caterair International Corporation, a Carlyle Group portfolio company formed from the spin-off of Marriott Corporation’s airline catering division. Previously, Bruce was Manager, financial planning and analysis with Marriott, and an analyst with Goldman Sachs & Company.
He holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a M.S. in engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.S. in engineering from Virginia Tech.
